Bhutan

Bhutan is a veritable Shangri La. Its treasures being the scenery, unique culture and incredible wealth of flora and fauna that it has so carefully nurtured and preserved. Great hotels were not what you went to Bhutan for. All of that has changed with the advent of the superlative Uma Paro and the Amankora hotels that have now come up across the country. These places have set new standards. For those who cherished the somewhat rough and ready but immensely warm and welcoming Bhutanese hospitality of the past we are happy to report their robust survival.
