Holidays incorporating our charities
We support several charities at Indian Explorations, including Global Tiger Patrol, Dr Graham’s Homes in Kalimpong and an orphanage on the outskirts of Bangalore. We were one of the founder members of TOFT (Tour Operators for Tigers).
If you would like to visit one our charities or see what work has taken place with the funding, we have three wonderful places for you to stay whilst doing so.
If you would like to visit Dr Graham’s Homes in Kalimpong, to either simply visit the home or to sponsor a child’s education, then we would suggest that you either stay at Glenburn, which is a lovely tea plantation at the foothills of Mount Kanchenjunga, or a lovely homestead closeby.
On the outskirts of Bangalore is Shreyas, a luxury boutique hotel where one can also practise yoga and meditation.The orphanage that we support is also on the outskirts of Bangalore.
Global Tiger Patrol funds many of the parks which we support, including Kanha, Pench, Bandhavgarh and Ranthambore. We have some wonderful tented camps and lodges for you to stay at whilst on safari and we can arrange for a specialist guide to give you a more holistic experience, whilst also updating you on the progress of the parks, conservation issues and the work carried out by Global Tiger Patrol.
